🕊️ … My Name is Peace … 🕊️

Peace be upon you,

wherever you may be,

within our homeland

or far across its borders,

from every race, every faith,

every voice sharing this planet we call home.

Peace to the earth — in a child’s laughter

when the birds of dawn rest upon the clouds.

Peace to the night folding its wounds,

scars that burned horizons and cried aloud.

Peace to the people whose only difference

is the language chosen by their tongues to sound.

I am the daughter of silence

who despises the clash of steel,

and hates a sword that waves in a killer’s hand.

I strip war bare to learn that smoke is a coward,

and bullets are cunning illusions in command.

I say: Enough! while tears roam the maps

searching for a homeland that smiles again.

Enough! childhood, salty as oceans, prays 

that ruin stops singing and pain’s fire is slain.

Peace when spring breathes into earth,

and branches return to their love without fear.

Peace when hearts shake hands,

and hatred bows down to drink from water clear.

I am the poet of truth,

when the world grows narrow,

I write the word “safety” across the sky;

and I shout:

No to wars!

For humans were created to plant compassion wherever they pass by.

Peace… peace… to every heart

that learned to hold, to embrace, to forgive ;

to every path that guides the light,

keeping life a canvas where bright tomorrows live.

O world screaming in chaos today,

chain the roar of bullets,

and set the songs of peace free to rise.

We want nothing but to live

in homes built on love,

on lands where harmony never dies.

From me to you, a peace that overflows,

like minarets pulsing when dawn begins to grow.

Yes to peace! for no humiliation lives after peace,

and no sunrise appears unless the dark lets go.

No to wars… no to ruin…

no hands shaking death while guilt survives below.

Yes… to peace whenever it is spoken, life blooms ;

whenever morning whispers it, roses sparkle and glow.

Peace be upon you until the earth one day sings

an endless anthem titled :
